3D printing "PBF (Powder Bed Fusion)"

Achieving 3D printing with PPS material, which excels in strength, heat resistance, and dimensional stability! It is particularly suitable for hollow structure fabrication.

Our 3D printing 'PBF' uses TreMill PPS, a PPS resin microparticle with suitable fluidity and polymer characteristics for the powder bed fusion method, thanks to Toray Industries' unique polymer design technology. It is also possible to select heat-resistant and strength-enhanced materials, such as those containing carbon fiber or glass fiber. The parts to be formed are melted and sintered by a laser, while the unsintered powder material serves as a support material, making it particularly suitable for hollow structure fabrication. 【Features】 ■ The powder serves as a support material, allowing for hollow structures and complex shapes. ■ Multiple products with different shapes can be fabricated simultaneously. ■ Finishing processes are possible (painting, dyeing, machining). ■ TreMill PPS, suitable for fabrication, is used based on Toray Industries' polymer design. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Moldless Casting vs. Metal 3D Printing [Digital Sintering Version]

Moldless lost-wax casting "Digital Cast" and metal 3D printing "Digital Sinter," what is the optimal solution for your needs?

★Comparison of the Differences and Advantages between Moldless Casting "Digital Cast" and Metal 3D Printing "Digital Sinter"! In recent years, manufacturing technology for metal parts has evolved dramatically. Moldless casting methods and metal 3D printing are particularly attracting attention in our technology category. 【Advantages of Metal 3D Printing: Digital Sinter】 ■ Overwhelming Speed Digital Sinter has a lead time of about one week (with the shortest record being two days), making it very advantageous for prototypes and small-scale production that require urgent responses. ■ Strong in Producing Complex Shapes and Small Parts The maximum size it can accommodate is 80mm on each side, but it excels in manufacturing small and complex-shaped parts. It is ideal for small components in medical devices and electronic devices, as well as for developing very small quantities of parts. ■ Specific Steel Type Compatibility The materials that can be used are limited to SINTER T (SUS316L) and SINTER D (pure copper, SUS316L, SUS630). This allows for the rapid provision of difficult-shaped items. *This is a guideline for the maximum size and steel types based on our metal 3D printing service. 【What is the Best Metal Forming for Your Needs?】 We provide the optimal manufacturing method for your project, along with VE proposals, based on the purpose of part procurement (QCD) and specification conditions.

I scanned a grain of rice and made it 100 times its actual size!

[Mitarepo] Ultra-small 3D scan × large print! Scanned 5mm rice and printed it at 500mm!

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product genres handled by System Create. The theme of Vol.19 is "We 3D scanned a grain of rice and made it 100 times its actual size!" Mitarepo has tackled various projects so far, but Vol.19 is taking on a unique and unconventional theme! As mentioned above, we are 3D scanning a grain of rice, scaling it up, and then 3D printing it. This is the first time we are scanning and printing something so small, but it should definitely result in something impressive...! So this time, we scanned a grain of rice that is only 5mm in size. We enlarged the data to 100 times its height and attempted to print it. "How well can we scan ultra-small objects?" "Was the 100 times larger rice successfully completed?" Please pay attention to each step as you watch. *You can download the materials from the button below.

[Marsugo] Freely arrange carbon materials with 3D printing 'mask function'

The key to utilizing carbon 3D printing with "Malsugo" is the "arrangement of carbon"! We will explain the amazing "mask function" that allows for the free arrangement of carbon materials.

Marsgo is a document that picks up the functions and features of various products and introduces the "amazing" aspects of them. This time, we will introduce the "mask function" of the carbon 3D printer "Anisoprint Composer," which allows you to place carbon material only in areas where strength is required. To make the most of carbon 3D printed models, it is important to determine whether you can appropriately utilize the strength of the carbon material. One key point is to focus on the "placement of carbon material" within the model. If you place carbon material equally in areas under load and those that are not, you will not be able to effectively gain the benefits. This is where the "mask function" we are introducing comes in handy. By using the mask function, you can freely place carbon material on the model, allowing you to focus on reinforcing the areas that require strength. If you have 3D data, you can easily create a mask, enabling you to achieve a "convenient and waste-free" increase in strength. It's a very useful function, so if you're concerned about the strength of your printed model, please take a look! ★ *You can download the document from the button below.
